Made in NZ, this style of dust mite mattress protector will fully-enclose your mattress for immediate allergy relief. These natural cotton bed covers with zip and taped seams are easy to use, breathable & comfortable.

Designed and tested by a New Zealand microbiologist, our mattress covers are made from scientifically proven allergy barrier fabric and construction methods.

MiteGuard’s allergen barrier mattress cover provides relief for dust mite allergy sufferers. Made in New Zealand from 100% cotton precision microweave fabric, this mattress protector is scientifically proven to reduce allergy symptoms triggered by dust mite allergen.

The Dust Mite Cover's fully-enclosed design prevents allergen from escaping from the mattress. It has an internal flap system to further reduce the risk of allergen transmission through the zip. The quality YKK zip itself, extends halfway around the cover so you can easily insert your mattress into the cover and zip it up.

The fabric is called ‘microweave’ because the gaps in the weave have been reduced to only 3.5 microns - small enough to prevent the transmission of dust mite allergens in the bed through the cover to the sleeper.

We have chosen this advanced cotton fabric because it is functional, as well as breathable, durable and comfortable to sleep on.

Miteguard standard mattress covers fit 240 - 250mm (24cm) deep mattresses -see the size guide above this description. For deeper mattresses up to 35cm deep choose the 340mm deep option when selecting the size.
